Simplicity


A life study of a valentine rose just to fill a day :)

4 hours approx in coloured pencil on smooth white card. I thought it turned out well and I was especially pleased as I dont do much 'finished' work direct from life.

    Very pretty - its nice to draw something 'out of the ordinary' every now and then isn't it. Do you use a blender or solvent with your cps?

    Sometimes, but more recently I think I am improving on getting a nice smooth effect without one. I didnt use one on this. It is nice to change subject every now and then. :D :D
