Already time to move on so here is my new WIP, based on a Dressage Stallion. It will be called 'the Debut' . So far I have the BG roughed in, I dont think I will take the detail any further as I want it to be a simple suggestion of entering an arena. I may tone down the blues, but TBH I love them at the moment, so I will see how it dries. The tricky thing here will be working out the light on the horses coat as the ref photos were taken outside on a summer day ! Always a challenge.....

ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for you to do more work on this one! :-D I love the blue, but I think the bottom left hand corner could be more horse and less dark, making the horse stand out more. Excited about watching this one!
ReplyDeleteHelloooo! *waves* I will see what happens when I put his colour on as that area is a bit of a guess ATM ...I am a litle worried about the blue totally clashing with the bay TBH! I am hoping to blur it out at the edge so yes, a bit more horse and less shadow will probably work. Cheers hun :D
