After an initial panic at doing a long haired and mostly white terrier on white :O I am enjoying this little one!

I aim to be finished by the morning.

I am pleased that this is finally coming together. Just the final details and the neck to do.

2nd dog head in progress

This is the 2nd part of the 3 head dog commission, which I have spent a while agonising over today! Its quite difficult to portray a very blonde dog on white paper but I think Im finally winning. It still needs work on the muzzle and she has no whiskers yet either.

Blurry photos, the camera doesnt like green canford!

This is a little A3 that I am doing in coloured pencil along with the new commission. Its based on a jockey and groom that I photographed at Cottenham Point to point, just before the ladies Open. This poor girl actually had a fall and didnt complete the race but at least she, and the lovely horse were OK.

This is turning out quite 'painterly' compared to my other work, Im not sure why! It could be that I am using more coloursoft pencils than my usual supracolour.
